Ophir Summer Classes 2024

Classes are for students aged 10-14 unless otherwise indicated.

Class registration covers bus transportation, lunch, snacks, and water, class T-shirt, materials and supplies, and cost of instruction. Students will need to dress appropriately for an outdoor experience. Closed-toe shoes, hat, a light jacket, gloves, and sunscreen are highly recommended. UNLESS NOTED, ALL CLASSES LISTED WILL BE AM CLASSES.

**Please remember to print, sign and return the completed Parent Consent and Permission Form in order to board the bus. Permission slip can be found HERE

AM CLASSES: Students will board a TCSD school bus at Tooele High School (301 W Vine Street, Tooele) at 8:15 AM and depart for the Ophir Canyon Education Center. Bus will return to Tooele High School at approx. 1:00 PM. Please make arrangements to have your student picked up at this time. Students will not have access to the school to call for a ride.

PM CLASSES: Students will board a TCSD school bus at Tooele High (301 W Vine Street, Tooele) at 12:00 PM and depart for the Ophir Canyon Education Center. Bus will return to Tooele High at approx. 4:30 PM. Please make arrangements to have your student picked up at this time. Students will not have access to the school to call for a ride.

I acknowledge that the participant for which I am registering will participate in this event hosted by the school. I release the school and district, its agents, employees, representatives, and volunteers from any liability for injury, death, or property damage that may occur during the event. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless from any such claims arising from the participant's actions during the event. I have read and understand this release of liability, and I agree to it freely and voluntarily. I certify my ability to do so on behalf of the participant.
